The Sugar Fairy Cakes was founded by Juliana, who launched the business back in 2018 at just 19 years old.
Spotting a serious lack of vegan and gluten-free cake options on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, she rolled up her sleeves and baked her way into hearts and mouths across the city and that became her speciality.
From hundreds of custom cakes baked per year, to selling dessert specials at Manly Market stalls, Kitchen Pop-ups for special occasions like Christmas & Easter, and stocking our brilliant mini cakes at Greens Supermarket & Shift Eatery.
With her charming dad Tony on the sales front (warning: he’s been known to talk people into buying a whole box!), the stall is always full of excitement.
The Sugar Fairy is here to sprinkle a little bit more magic and sweetness into your lives :)
Everything is made fresh to order through our online shop.

We operate in a commercial kitchen warehouse in Brookvale, we do NOT have a storefront.
All cakes & cupcakes are made to order.

GLUTEN:
All of our products are gluten-free.
Many gluten intolerant customers enjoy our cakes, and every product, ingredient and piece of kitchen equipment used for our baking is kept away from gluten products.
If you are ordering for someone with coeliac disease or a serious allergy, please contact us before placing the order so we can talk through what is suitable.
NUTS:
We use ALMOND MEAL in ALL of our products and this cannot be taken out or substituted. We also work with other nuts in our kitchen on a semi-frequent basis including hazelnuts, peanuts, pistachios and cashews.
SOY:
All of our cakes contain soy (specifically Soy Lecithin in the icing) which can not be modified or omitted.
Our Lemon Meringue Tarts are soy free.

Everything made is 100% vegan – our products will never EVER contain dairy, eggs, honey, gelatine or carmine!
Juliana (head baker, owner) has been an ethically driven vegan for 11+ years. She is very dedicated to making the most delicious cruelty-free treats that everyone can enjoy.
